I make wood-fired, salt-glazed porcelain and stoneware. Combining throwing and hand-building, my approach is intuitive and responsive, with decisive marks and impressions that capture the movement of making. The firing brings warmth and depth, accentuating tactile surfaces and traces of process.

Isabelle studied drawing at Kingston School of Art, graduating with First Class BA Honours. During this time, her work increasingly turned toward clay, leading her to continue her training at Clay College in Stoke-on-Trent from 2022 to 2024. Following this, she worked as a pottery technician and tutor in Bristol, including at Bristol Folk House and Zed Alley Clayhouse. In spring 2025, she joined the Wobage Workshops community, established by Michael and Sheila Casson in the 1970s, where she now works from her own studio while supporting Jeremy and Petra Steward as a part-time apprentice.
